Dear New Baptist Church Family,
Everyday seems to bring more news about the Coronavirus (COVID-19). Medical professionals in our church have spoken to me about the importance that we as a church take certain steps. Due to these strong, thoughtful, and wise recommendations, we have decided to take the following actions in regard to our worship services and activities.
Our only Sunday activity will be 11:00am Worship in the Sanctuary. We will provide a nursery for infants, but there will be no kids church. Children will need to sit with their parents as a family unit. Parents are requested to keep their children close to minimalize contact with others. If you choose to come and worship with us this Sunday morning, please…
Wednesday Evening 6:30pm Small Groups will continue. Currently we are meeting in small groups during the Wednesday evening time. Due to the limited size of each group these groups may continue mindful of the above instructions. I do apologize to parents though; there will be no kid’s choir or other children activities on Wednesday evening.
Times of fear, panic and real danger are all opportunities to trust the Lord and lean into Him. As scary as this time is, use it to draw near to the Lord. Hang on to Him, trust Him, and enjoy Him as He guides you and is with you through the current crisis of the day. ““Peace I leave with you; my peace I give to you. Not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your hearts be troubled, neither let them be afraid.” (John 14:27)”.

- Wash your hands often and completely.
- Refrain from shaking hands, hugging, or other forms of personal contact.
- If you are fighting any kind of illness, it is ok to stay at home.
- If you are elderly, we recommend that until the COVID-19 passes that you choose to stay at home as a way of added precaution for yourself.
