Welcome College Students!

New Baptist Church is a multi-generational community that seeks to know Christ, grow in His Word, and be a blessing where we're placed.

We support the West Virginia Baptist Convention's Baptist Campus Ministry (BCM) and CRU both financially and through volunteers.   If you haven't already, check out BCM and CRU.

Though our college ministry is primarily focused on empowering college students through campus ministry, there are also ways to be involved and plugged into the church. We are a multi-generational church and our goal is to acclimate college students to the “big church”, providing opportunities for congregation members to learn from generations of wisdom. Getting them involved with the different ministries here at the church that impact a multitude of people in our church and in our community.  

We would love to help you connect with people and opportunities to grow and serve as part of our church!

Get Plugged In!

• There is a Facebook Page for New Baptist Church announcements and a separate one for members for prayer requests and other information that I can add you too!  Just Let me know.  Carla Booth 304-617-7289
• Sunday School: Sunday Mornings at 10 am upstairs in the Youth room. We have a lite breakfast at 9:50am and some fellowship time before class.  
  Join the GroupMe  
• Monthly dinners are held for fund raising money for various missions.  This is a good time for all of us to have lunch together at the church. 
  If you are short on cash that week we will make a donation for your meal so you can fellowship with everyone. 

Connect and Serve:

• Food Pantry
• Media Team
• Youth/Children’s Ministry: after your first semester you’re welcome to join and help serve through these ministries. Help with Youth events, AWANA, Sunday School,
  nursery, etc.. Contact Pastor Lee to take the Child Protection Training course and serve
• Wednesday Men/Women Bible studies
• Join the choir
• Volunteer to sing or play an instrument for Sunday morning
