New Baptist Church is a multi-generational community that seeks to know Christ, grow in His Word, and be a blessing where we're placed.
We support the West Virginia Baptist Convention's Baptist Campus Ministry (BCM) and CRU both financially and through volunteers. If you haven't already, check out BCM and CRU.
Though our college ministry is primarily focused on empowering college students through campus ministry, there are also ways to be involved and plugged into the church. We are a multi-generational church and our goal is to acclimate college students to the “big church”, providing opportunities for congregation members to learn from generations of wisdom. Getting them involved with the different ministries here at the church that impact a multitude of people in our church and in our community.

Coming up this semester:Ladies Night Out / Formal Event
Saturday ~September 7th 2024 An evening of fellowship, dinner, and learning about the fall Bible studies on Esther. Erin ODell is the guest speaker this year. October 11-12th 🍎 Apple Butter Weekend. On the Booth Farm See the church newsletter for details Square Dance Friday Night October 25th 6-9pm Dinner at 6pm then dancing with a live band. Line dances and bon fire 🔥 Open Mic and coffee house/snacks November 16th 2024 6pm for sign ups. Music 6:30. - 8:30pm. Saturday night. Please come share your talent and bring friends. We will need help to set up and clean up that day. We will have pizza early for those setting up. REFIT®️ with Steph and Carla Monday Evenings at the church- 5:30-6:30 pm On the wild side.
